The ultimate aim of all phone cards is to reduce the expenditure on telephone bill and also to ensure instantaneous connectivity. By selecting the right phone card, it is possible to reduce the expenditure on telephone by about 50% to 80%. In regard to connectivity, the calling companies have a utility called as ‘PIN less dialing’.
PIN (personal identification number) is an identification number given to the card by the calling company. By using this number, the calling company will identify the caller and he is instantaneously connected to the toll free calling zone. Thereafter, the caller will dial the country code followed by area code and the required telephone number in the other country. With this, he is connected to the required number.
Normally memorizing all these numbers is difficult. This is particularly true in respect of those who make frequent calls to various business contacts in different countries. For the help of such callers the calling companies have come out with a solution called the PIN less dialing.
In this format, the caller will make a list of the telephone numbers in different countries which he would call frequently. He will register these numbers with the helpline of the calling company. Whenever he wants to call, the caller will dial his PIN number of access number. The helpline will take the caller to the list of telephone numbers he has registered. The caller will just choose the required number. He will then press the ‘dial’ button of his mobile phone and he is instantaneously connected to the required number.
